The financing of ships was part of the agenda. Following this, Pieter van der Burg and Wouter Zijlmans presented the report: \u2018Koers op Noord, de positie van short sea shipping binnen de economie van Noord-Nederland\u2019. This report, drawn up by Nesec, identifies the importance of the maritime cluster North Netherlands and discusses the expected impact of the Nesec Shipping Debt fund (NSDF) within the Northern provinces. NSDF is a financing fund, set up by Nesec, that aims to provide an answer to the limited credit options in the financing of ships.
