Hudig & Veder and Nesec Strengthen Partnership with New Shortsea Vessels

On 17 April, a naming ceremony was held at Holland Shipyards for Hudig & Veder’s vessels Rijnvliet and Waalvliet. The naming ceremony follows that of sister vessel Maasvliet in February this year. The three vessels are the latest we have provided funding for and stand as a testament to the excellent cooperation that exists between Nesec and Hudig & Veder.
This is the second time that our two companies have collaborated – the first time being back in 2021. Sharing the same long-term vision for shipping and short sea freight, we were honoured to be a part of this significant step forward.
When delivered, the two vessels will operate on regular routes under the commercial management of Hartel Shipping.
